Spelling Checker or Spelling Chequer?

A lesson for Literature and Language Learning, I like it! =)
There's a listening activity,
Miss JC read out a poem by Martha Snow,
and we wrote it on a paper.

Look at my version:
I have a spelling checker
It came with my PC
It plainly marks for my review
Mistakes I cannot see

I was wondering how cute this poem written by Martha Snow,
Feeling it's lacking of something, air of weirdness filled. hmm?
Let's continue the second stanza.

I strike a key and type a word
And wait it to save
Whether I am wrong or right
It shows me straight away

As soon as a mistake is made
It knows before too long
And I can put the error right
It's really ever wrong

I have run this poem through it
Am sure your oleasee to know
Its letter perfect all the way
My checker told me so.

Guess what's happening later?
Am sure this gonna throw you all into laughters! =D

The original version by Martha Snow:

Eye halve a spelling chequer
It came with my pea sea
It plainly marques four my revue
Miss steaks eye kin knot sea.

Eye strike a quay and type a word
And weight four it two say
Weather eye am wrong oar write
It shows me strait a weigh.

As soon as a mist ache is maid
It nose bee fore two long
And eye can put the error rite
It's rare lea ever wrong.

Eye have run this poem threw it
I am shore your pleased two no
It's letter perfect awl the weigh
My chequer tolled me sew.

It's SPELLING CHEQUER!! ><
arr~~
After comparing my "understandings towards this poem",
the only gesture I did was hold my mouth, asking myself to stop laughing!
HaHa~

Isn't it funny??
I like Literature, though it's sometimes very abstract to be understood. ><
Anyway, Like it, SUPER Like it!
